The Cafe Manager will organize daily cafe operations working under the Food and Beverage Director while providing excellent customer service and motivating staff to do the same. Ultimately, the Cafe Manager will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement and turn our cafe into a favorite spot for guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing day-to-day cafe operations
  • Training employees and reporting training to HR
  • Scheduling and maintaining staff levels based on cafe needs
  • Preparing timesheets for approval and submission for payroll
  • Assisting in issuing and/or collecting uniforms
  • Sending daily financial reports
  • Opening or closing various shifts as a cashier
  • Ordering supplies
  • Advising staff on best practices in dealing with guests and providing customer service
  • Ensuring cafe areas are clean and tidy
  • Maintaining relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
  • Serving as Guest Services and ticket sales on some shifts  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in leadership
  • Experience in Food and Beverage as a Manager
  • Availability to work weekends, weekdays and holidays
  • Must be able to be on feet walking most of the day
  • Must display an attitude to excel and achieve goals
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • High School Diploma
  • Additional certification in Business or Hospitality a plus

The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. Work environment is outdoors and subject to the elements, both cold and hot.
